Great food, Have eaten there several times. The problem is the portions are too big. I suppose I could eat 1/2 and save for later, but it tastes too good to save for later!

Understood, Greg, thanks for the tip. I wouldn't have tried to go off-menu unless the staff looked unhurried and showed interest in guiding me through some choices.

Great review! The "secret" menu items are just rehashes of the normal menu items. Just be sure that you go in during a slow time, otherwise the line staff generally dislikes making the secret items because they slow down the line.

I too thought the chicken was a bit too spicy. So I started getting the pork. It's great. Although I they put WAY too much rice in there. Resulting in me stuffing myself to pig state!

Since we had the vegetarian tacos & burrito, we can't comment on the level of heat in the meats. However, the beans weren't spicy at all. The small amount of heat that I had in my burrito was caused by the tomato salsa (mild) that I added. My husband added both the tomato salsa & the medium-heat corn salsa, and at that point, it was far too spicy for me to enjoy.

A little heat goes a long way!

I promised myself I would give Chipotle another try, especially now since there is one so close to me. I was not too impressed with them about two years ago when I first tried them. I found all of their meat dishes, especially the chicken, to be too spicy. I don't mind adding heat with salsa and sauces, that makes sense, but I disagree with starting out with a hot base. Also, that makes it very hard to pick out items for the kids to eat.

There's nothing wrong with a stuffed pig, in and of itself. Just make sure you avoid consorting with Napoleon.

Charlottesville has a Chipotle now. I enjoy it, but I always feel like a stuffed pig after eating one of those giant burritos!
